Tarot Card Spreads
With as many tarot card spreads that are available, it’s no wonder that many people are confused about what to use and when to use them. Since there are simple spreads and there are complicated spreads and there are spreads for everything in between, knowing when to use certain spreads can make your life much easier.
When you take out Rider Waite tarot cards, you will want to think about the question you have in mind. If the question is a simple yes or no question, you might just want to flip a coin as tarot card decks are going to give you a far more complicated answer. Or you might want to use a single card spread, asking the question not as a yes or no question, but as a ‘what should I know about this situation’ sort of query.
More complicated questions, as those about life paths or larger decisions, will need to involve tarot spreads with more than one card. The more cards you choose, the more detailed your answers are going to be – and this makes sense with more complicated issues. You want to have as many possibilities before you on the table or the ground in front of you.
You need to ask yourself what sort of tarot deck reading you need before you decide on the spread that is going to be effective. Sometimes you just don’t need every card on the table – just the right ones to answer your questions in a way that makes sense for you.
